With Techtool Pro 18, you can schedule testing with Check Computer. A few years ago, we introduced Check Computer Suites, which allow you to customize a group of tests that you can run using Check Computer. Three suites are included out-of-the-box, but you can customize your own suites in a variety of ways.

Now, we’ve added a Schedule option to Suites. With it you can schedule any Check Computer Suite to run automatically on the schedule of your choosing.

Here’s how it works: from the Check Computer configuration panel,  click on the suites dropdown menu, and choose configure. Now that you’re in Check Computer Preferences, choose Schedule from the configuration table on the left. Use the date picker to choose a date and time for the currently selected suite to run. You can have the suite run just once, or on an interval of your choosing: daily, weekly, or monthly. Click Set Schedule to put your suite on automatic.

If Techtool Pro isn’t running, it will launch to start testing. However, testing will only occur if the user who scheduled testing is logged in to your Mac.
