There is a known issue with solid state drives (SSDs) produced by Toshiba for certain MacBook Air models. Specifically, SSDs with the model numbers APPLE SSD TS0128F and APPLE SSD TS0256F have been reported to have inaccurate SMART attribute data. As a result, the SMART data from these drives should not be fully trusted.

However, as long as the SMART Overall Health Self-Assessment result in the Capabilities tab reports a “Passed” result, the drive can generally continue to be used without issue. It’s recommended to rely on this self-assessment to determine if the drive is functioning properly, rather than the SMART attribute data itself.
