The Techtool Protection alerts are generated by one of the categories with the Techtool Protection system preference. The Techtool Protection system preference is located in the System Preferences application, which can be accessed either by going to the Apple Menu and selecting System Preferences… or by going to your Applications folder and launching the System Preferences application.

Within the Techtool Protection system preference, you can disable the Techtool Protection system preference by clicking on the ’Stop’ button at the top left corner of the Techtool Protection system preference window or by removing the checkmark from one of the Features lists within the system preference itself. For example, if you are receiving alert notifications about volume usage being below a certain threshold, then you will uncheck the Volume Usage feature.
