Is it possible to output to an ISO / DMG file rather than to flash etc?

Also, has anyone tried including non-Apple software in the build (such as AVAST)? Did it work for you?

I do not see any way to have the files copied by Protogo put into a file. The program erases the destination device.

Then having the ability to output to DMG / ISO images would be worthwhile in my opinion.

The point of TechTool Protogo is to allow you to make use a small hardware device to boot your Macintosh and run utilities. Running the program from a bootable DVD does not allow the use of virtual memory, and no log files can be written.
