Protogo Support Files? 23 Sep 2011 11:41 #1300

In Protogo Support Files I can see:

- ProtogoX6.dmg = 716 MB
- ProtogoX5.dmg = 571 MB
- Protogo9.dmg = 92.8 MB

I presume ProtogoX6 is for Intel, ProtogoX5 for PPC, and Protogo9 for oldest versions of Mac OS.
My questions are:
1. Do I need ProtogoX5.dmg and Protogo9.dmg if my laptop is MacBook Pro using Intel and Mac OS X 10.6.8?
2. Can I remove (delete) ProtogoX5 and Protogo9.dmg without doing any harm to ProtogoX6.dmg?

Thank you in advance for your support.

I do not know whether you can remove the files that pertain to versions of Mac OS X that you are not using. As far as I can see, the only way to know for certain would be to test every aspect of the program with the two files removed, which is not practical, so I would leave them where they are. The program launches and displays all profiles without them, but there is no way to know whether there may be some ill-effect without experimenting.
