Replace drive? or proceed with OS 10.11 upgrade? 12 Jul 2016 21:03 #7346

I am going to upgrade my MacBook Pro, 2010 from OS X 10.8.5 to current El Capitan release.
Before I started, I ran system a System check, discovered 3 bad blocks, and noticed the "Spin Up Count results" were up. That gave me pause. My machine has a TOSHIBA MK2555GSXF 250.06 GB disc drive.

Does this suggest I should replace the drive first? or will loading the new OS overwrite the bad blocks? Or is the Spin Up Count an indicator that regardless of OS, this is going to be a problem?
