edrive "an error has occurred" 24 May 2016 18:14 #7238

I've updated my tech tool pro 8 and it is suddenly unable to create an edrive on my 2012 macbook air. I have 50 GB of memory left--but this should be enough? It was enough early this morning for the previous edrive!

On failure, it has nothing in the report except to rebuild the volume, which I have done. Still it stops instantly after starting. I'm no mac expert--any advice? Thank you--edrive has saved me so many times in the past I'd love to continue

In order to create the eDrive, the volume on the MacBook Air must be able to be split. In order to do that, some files may have to be moved, which should happen automatically at the start of the eDrive creation process. The logs may give some indication of what is happening. Thank you.
