Hello. I have an iMac (2006 model). After completing tests via Techtool Pro v 6.06 (7347) DVD, I was unable to boot up to my main hard drive, even after selecting "option" at start up. Note, I have an USB keyboard (not Bluetooth). Any suggestions to be able to boot up my main hard drive, as the start up manager didn't come up at startup? Under the apple menu, I tried to select "system preferences" or shut down, nothing happens. You've should make TT PRO startup disk a way to boot up from the system start up drive, like Apple's intallation disks.
System info: iMac (2006) running Mac OS 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard) with a 2 GHz Intel Core Duo processor with 2 GB SD RAM.

If you restart and immediately hold down the mouse button, the DVD will eject. In some cases, a USB mouse must be directly connected to the computer (not the keyboard) for that to work.

The system software on the TechTool Pro bootable DVD comes from an Apple Developer kit for making bootable DVDs. We can add our applications to it, but no other modifications are allowed, as far I as know.

You should be running TechTool Pro from an eDrive if you want to use the Tools. Running the program from a bootable DVD does not allow virtual memory to be used, and no log files can be written.
