Hide eDrive 04 Jan 2013 17:33 #3544

I have (at long last; optimizing took long enough to burn-in my screen) created an eDrive for my Leopard G5 iMac. But now it shows up on the desktop when I log in. Is there a way to hide it or have it not mount to begin with?

You should be using at least TechTool Pro 4.6.2.

When TechTool Pro is properly installed on the active startup volume, the eDrive appears briefly at the end of the boot, and then it automatically unmounts. If the program is installed, you should repair permissions using Disk Utility, uninstall TechTool Pro, and then reinstall it. The uninstall option is the other choice in the pop-up menu that defaults to Easy Install (if I recall correctly).
