Which drives ?

Ran the surface scan on all all drives and everything scans OK.

So from my point of view the error message does not tell me much by yelling at me that the drives failed.

Open the Checkmate application, and look at the Log. It will identify the type of failure and the volume or drive on which it occurred.

From the manual:

Logs
In the Logs view, a log entry is made of each test.
A check icon is displayed for each test that passes,
and an X icon is displayed for tests that fail. For
tests that display warnings, a warning icon will be
displayed. Double clicking the log item, or clicking
the disclosure triangle displays more information
about the warning or failure.

Well, I looked at the log for the last week and it does not show which drive(s) failed.

(Not sure if the screen shot upload made it here because your preview button still does not work.)

Regardless, I had done a surface scan and TTPro7 sezs all is OK.

The warning about some files being corrupt gives nothing more then what DiskWarrior tells me.

Furthermore, I'm not about to zap systems files.

Anyway, i'm not so sure about the value of Checkmate running in the background and have disconnected it.

Thanks for your help.

You need to look at the Logs, not the window for which you uploaded a screen capture. In the window you had open, click the large Logs button at the upper left.

There was one reported case in which the Surface Scan test showed a result of failure because the Checkmate worker daemon process had crashed, so the test did not run to completion. Please use the Send Report feature of Checkmate to send us your logs, so we can see if that is what happened in your case, and we can see if the solution that worked for the other customer works for you. Thank you.

The files that are flagged by the File Structures test are not necessarily corrupt. The details are here:
