Checkmate Progress Bar (Or Something) 05 Jul 2013 17:14 #4325

I recently upgraded to TechTool Pro 7, which I use with Checkmate (ver.1.0.4). My question is if it’s possible that a progress bar (or some indicator that Checkmate is not only active, but running at any particular moment).

You could even have something appear in the Notification Center that Checkmate has started, and finished because at this point it seems that the only way that you can tell that Checkmate is running is if your system freezes, which isn’t exactly ideal.

Thanks for your suggestion, which I have forwarded to the proper person.

The only test Checkmate should be running while you are using your computer is the Volume Structures test. When that test is about to run, a dialog box appears, asking you if you would like the test to be postponed, because it does tie up the computer for a few minutes.

The rest of the time, you should see one or more Checkmate daemons in Activity Monitor. Remember that the Checkmate application itself is just an interface to the Logs.
