What is the difference between Drive 10 and TechTool Pro 4?

Drive 10 is a Mac OS X native disk utility. It tests hard drive hardware, checks and repairs directory problems, performs directory rebuilds, and does disk optimization. All of Drive 10's features are included in TechTool Pro 4. TechTool Pro 4 is a more full-featured Mac OS X native program. In addition to the disk diagnosis and repair features of Drive 10, TechTool Pro 4 tests other components (such as RAM, processor, VRAM, etc.), creates an eDrive, does data recovery, includes automatic protection and diagnostics features, does secure data deletion, plus so much more.

NOTE: Drive 10 has been discontinued and is not compatible with Mac OS X 10.4 and above. An upgrade from Drive 10 to TechTool Pro 4 is available from Micromat Sales and from our online store.
