In order to create an eDrive on your startup volume using TechTool Pro 5, you will need to boot from the TechTool Pro 5 DVD.  To do this, insert your TechTool Pro 5 DVD, restart your Mac, and hold the 'c' key at startup.  

To create an eDrive on your normal startup volume:

1. Once your Mac has restarted, you should see a language selection screen.  
2. Select the language you wish to use, and click OK.  TechTool Pro should open.  
3. Once TechTool Pro has started up, choose the Tools tab, and then choose eDrive.
4. In the eDrive tool, select your startup volume as both Source and Destination Volumes.
5. Click 'Create eDrive.'
