I have TechTool Pro 4 (version 4.5.3 or earlier) installed and Leopard indicates I need to reinitialize my drive to install Leopard. Could the problem be releated to TechTool Pro 4? In rare instances, having an eDrive installed may cause this issue. The solution is to remove the eDrive and then do the Leopard installation. This would be necessary in any case since eDrives created with TechTool Pro 4.5.3 or earlier are not compatible with Leopard. Once Leopard is installed, then a new eDrive can be created using a Leopard compatible version of TechTool Pro 4. To remove the eDrive, boot to the TechTool Pro 4 disc, go to Tools->eDrive, and click the Remove eDrive button. |
